Combining exercise, fun and litter removal, PLOGGING is once again headed to the Golden Isles!

This FREE event begins and ends at Old City Hall (1229 Newcastle Street, downtown Brunswick) and welcomes all abilities of runners, walkers and joggers for an hour-long (or less if desired) trash pickup effort.

Plogging, which merges the words “jogging” and the Swedish phrase for pick up “plocka upp,” began in 2016 as an organized activity in Sweden and has quickly spread world-wide with countries covering the globe joining in this community betterment fun.

Organized by Keep Golden Isles Beautiful in partnership with Bike Walk Golden Isles, Environmental Community Action, Golden Isles Track Club, Brunswick Downtown Development Authority and the City of Brunswick.
