The Brunswick DDA in association with the Georgia Barbeque Association, and the Marty Lyons Foundation invite you to the Brunswick Backyard BBQ, sponsored by, Step One Automotive, Golden Isles Broadcasting, Edward Jones – Jeff Jones, Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse, iHeart Media Group, Leaf Home Water Solutions and The Islander. We want to welcome our visitors and show them the best that the Golden Isles has to offer. Our goal is to bring the community together as pit-masters, restaurants, and up-and-comers come to compete to say who has the best BBQ in the Golden Isles.
Registration to compete is $200.00 for entry, an additional $50.00 to enter the People’s Choice, and an additional $25.00 to enter the “Marty’s Choice” competition with over $4000.00 is cash prizes. To register for the BBQ competition, email events@discoverbrunswick.com. Tickets for the People's Choice is just $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.
