The Brunswick Rockin’ Stewbilee

It's back and better than ever. Saturday, January 28, 2023. There will be music, fun and, of course, lots of the stew that made Brunswick, Georgia famous. With live music, an antique and classic car show, the pooch parade, and the Brunswick stew cook-off. Bring the kids and let them have a blast at Junior Stewbilee Central. America’s Boating Course

The America’s Boating Club Golden Isles is presenting its one-day Boating Basics Class on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 4:30PM, at the University of Georgia Marine Extension Facility at 715 Bay Street, Brunswick. Topics covered emphasize our local boating area and conditions. and include going boating, necessary equipment, water "road" signs, Georgia Laws and much more. Lunch is included. Learn from experienced local boaters. Passing this course will qualify you for the Georgia Boat operator's license. The registration fee of $10 can be credited toward the optional course book ($40). The Heritage Race

In 2023, the Heritage Race 5K and Heritage Walk returns to Golden Isles. Held for the 4th year on a new course that takes you past some of Brunswick's most historic African American neighborhoods. The Heritage Race events will show participants from near and far why Golden Isles is Running City USA. The event will be followed by a family-friendly festival featuring community vendors, food and drink, entertainment, and children's activities.
