Golden Isles Arts & Humanities is pleased to announce the line-up of camps for ages 6 to 18 at the Historic Ritz Theatre this summer. With camps in both theater arts and basic filmmaking over the summer, there’s sure to be something for every creative young person out there.
These camps are designed to teach basic skills in a fun atmosphere and also a great way to enhance concentration, discipline and social and interpersonal skills.

AGES 6-7
Magical Mystery Hat Tour!
Hats are fun! It’s hard to imagine The Cat in the Hat without his red and white stripe top hat, or Harry Potter without his sorting hat. Come transform with us as we create our adventure around just how magical a hat can be through art, acting, and creative movement.

CAMP CREATE – Once Upon a Time
An exciting week of creativity as young performers learn theatre skills creating their own performance based on classic fairy tales.
July 11-15, 2022 9 am to 4 pm Tuition: $225

Summer Musical Theater Camp – Cinema Live!
Learn songs, dances and scenes from some of the most magical movies and present them to family and friends in a showcase performance!
July 18-22, 2022 9 am to 4 pm Tuition: $225
Class size: Minimum 10/Maximum 20
AGES 12 – 14
Camp Create!
An exciting week of creativity as young performers learn theatre skills while creating their own performance.
July 25 – 29 9 am to 4 pm Tuition: $225
Class size: Minimum 10/Maximum 20
AGES 13 – 18
FILMMAKING
This intense camp is perfect for both budding and experienced filmmakers to create their own film from start to finish.
June 20-24, 2022 11 am – 5 pm Tuition: $225
Class minimum: 4; Maximum: 10
- All camps run Monday-Friday at the Ritz Theatre.
- Tuition increases by $25 after June 10.
- Multiple Camp Discount: Take $25 off total tuition if registering for more than one camp.
- Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
• Lunch is not provided, campers ages 13 and up may purchase lunch in the downtown area with a guardian’s permission. - All camps will end with a presentation sharing on the final day of camp.
