Mommy and Me Belly Dance Class

A special Mommy and Me shimmy class just in time for Mother’s Day! We’ll learn some cool belly dancing moves and a routine you can later show off to your family and friends. Don’t miss out on this cool opportunity to make this Mother’s Day truly unforgettable. Mothers and daughters of all ages are welcome! $45 dollars for a Mother and Daughter duo, $20 for each additional participant in the group (to book additional participants in your group, just book the first 2, indicate in the notes that you have more participants, and we will get back to you). Holiday Break Day Camps

We are holding day camps during the holiday break. We have two themes for the two weeks students are out of schools. Read below to see the themes for the camp weeks.

12/18-12/22 Vintage Vortex
Come with us on a journey through the decades. Each day will be a different era and we’ll learn about popular trends, games, and music Christmas traditions from the past! Be prepared to take a far out journey and have a totally good time!

12/17-12/29
Each day is a mystery but don’t worry, we’ll give you some hints! Things that MIGHT happen: a trip to the playground at Mary Ross, go on a Downtown scavenger hunt to solve a Brick mystery, and so much more! Don’t miss out on this one!

Toys for Tots with Edward Jones

This is the time of year when we pause to reflect on the many things in our lives for which we are grateful. It’s also an ideal time to consider ways we can make a positive impact in our community.

As you know, we have the pleasure of collaborating once again with U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

At Edward Jones, our purpose is to impact our clients’ lives in a positive way and to better our communities. We would like to personally invite you to consider joining us to make a difference by donating new, unwrapped toys to our drop off location, Edward Jones, 1430 Newcastle Street. All items contributed will go to Toys for Tots.

Dream So Real

Dream So Real is a Christmas belly dance performance for the whole family, which will showcase Golden Isles Belly Dance’s best routines of the year and solos choreographed by our students, as well as feature a special appearance by our guest, Oriana – Tampa-based professional belly dancer and member of the Council for International Dance of UNESCO. We will take you on an unforgettable magical journey around the world, as well as inside your mind, and we will bring even more sparkle and joy to this holiday season! There will be only one show, Thursday, December 21, at 7:00 pm at the Historic Ritz Theatre, and the tickets can be purchased at www.lenamikado.com or by calling 912.571.6831.
