Festival of Trees benefitting Hope 1312 Collective is a festive evening to raise funds for a worthy organization in our community. Hope 1312 Collective is a provision of tangible Hope for children who have encountered the DFCS system.
This is a dazzling evening complete with food, drinks, masterfully decorated trees and wreathes, and incredible educational content concerning the needs of children and families at risk in our community.
Whether you have been married for years, just met, or two friends looking for a fun activity, this date night tea tasting is for you. It is a unique way to learn something new, taste something new, and experience something different.Tea for Two! Tea has been used for centuries as a way to welcome people into their homes and their lives. We think it is the perfect way to share an intimate evening with loved ones and friends alike.
We talk about the tea plant, how tea is made, and taste 4 different teas. What makes this tea tasting special, is that you get to test and sharpen your pallet. We will talk about mouth feel, finishes, initial flavors, and aroma difference of the tea liquor and taste.You will get to test your date’s pallet and refine your own. Everyone will come in a novice and leave feeling like an expert.
Tea Ceremonies are done around the world. China, Japan, Russia, Morocco, the UK, all have a ritual that brings spirituality, gratefulness, and creates a welcoming environment for guests. Learn from the ancient masters, as we highlight teas and rituals done in these tea ceremonies.
Local culinary treats and beautiful organic teas await! Come to the Biron Tea Factory and learn all about tea from the owner. This tea tasting will feature fun holiday teas, like roasted chestnut and cinnamon spiced teas. It will speak to how tea was used in holiday celebrations from Russian, to Eastern Europe, to the UK, and here in early Colonial times. We will also touch on a few ways tea is used to Welcome guests and how tea can be a great conversation starter for holiday meals. Come share a cuppa with us as we discover the world of tea.
Join us for another fun holiday market featuring over 40 modern, handmade makers from all over the surrounding areas. We’ll have food trucks and local coffee to keep you buzzing throughout the day. We’ll be at our usual spot in beautiful Old City Hall on Newcastle Street on Nov. 23rd from 10am to 4pm- see you there!
Jekyll and Hyde Con will be held on Saturday October 19th, 2024 in Historic Downtown Brunswick, GA
In cooperation with Discover Brunswick the show will span the historic district between the Old City Hall to the Ritz Theatre featuring street vending and utilizing multiple venues to host guests, panels, performances, contests, and more.

A special Mommy and Me shimmy class just in time for Mother’s Day! We’ll learn some cool belly dancing moves and a routine you can later show off to your family and friends.
