SUMMARY:Warrior Princess Sword Flow - Beginner Belly Dance with April
DESCRIPTION:Unleash your inner warrior and discover the grace\, control\, and drama of sword dance in this empowering six-week beginner series. Whether you’re new to props or looking to add a bold edge to your dance repertoire\, this course will safely and confidently introduce you to the fundamentals of sword technique\, balance\, and stage presence. \nEach class builds progressively\, covering:\n• Sword safety and handling basics\n• Posture\, poise\, and strong arm pathways\n• Balance technique for shoulder\, head\, and floorwork\n• Slow\, controlled isolations and transitions\n• Introductory combinations and choreography phrases\n• How to enter\, exit\, and command the stage with your sword \nWe’ll blend strength with stillness\, power with precision\, and artistry with awe-inspiring control. Students will finish the series with a short\, optional performance piece and a solid foundation for future prop work. \nNo prior dance or sword experience required. Just bring your curiosity\, your courage\, and a sword you’re not afraid to get intimate with. \nThis session will run every Saturday\, at 6:30 pm from June 28 through August 9 (no class on July 19). Sign up and pay before May 28 for the introductory price of $80 for all 6 classes. After May 28\, the standard $95 rate will apply.\nThis session is free for our monthly members.
