Yamuna Body Rolling from Ankle to Hip (IT Band)
Yamuna® Body Rolling is a self-care and self-conditioning technique that uses specialized therapy balls to treat specific body parts. It is able to address multiple layers of tissue, including skin, fascia, muscle, and bone, as well as work with connective tissues, internal organs, and the nervous system.
We’re starting to bring it full circle…In previous workshops we’ve done Shoulders, Back, Hips & Legs, then Feet, now we’re coming back up the leg from Ankle to Hip working calf, shin, the outer line and joints in between. The best part of YBR is you can jump in anywhere so even if you’ve missed previous workshops, you can start here!
Working the leg in this way helps to stabilize the knee and ankle while freeing up restrictions in the tendons and ligaments from strain and improper gait. If you’ve had issues with the IT Band, TFL, pulling at the knee or ankle, then this is the workshop for you!
