THE HERITAGE 5K RACE / GUIDED HISTORIC WALK

Held for the 5th year, the chipped timed 5K race RRCA certified course takes runners down Brunswick’s most historic African-American corridor and past some of Brunswick’s most historic neighborhoods, offering participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant history.
Participants take a guided walk down historic Albany Street, which has been the heartbeat of African-American history since after the Civil War. Walkers are transported back in time and can connect with the rich heritage and stories as they pass landmarks, historic homes, and sites.
Proceeds benefit the Brunswick African American Cultural Center (BAACC)
