Journey Through Our Water Cycle

Kick off Earth Day early with a walk down the Sapelo Island Visitor Center nature trail where you will learn from local students about the work they are doing on Sapelo Island to better understand our water cycle! Visit the following student’s booths along the trail:

Hazel: “Saltwater and the Stream’s Microscopic Clean-Up Crew”
Henna: “Salamanders and Salinity”
Zach: “How Saltwater Changes Stream Life”
Ember: “Saltwater Intrusion in the Forest”
Jessie: “Oyster’s Salt Stress!”

Great for ages 12 and up.
