21st Annual Spring Fling

The Brunswick Glynn County Council on Disabilities, Inc. will sponsor the 21ST Annual “Spring Fling” at Mary Ross Park, Downtown Brunswick, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 12pm – 3pm. This unique event is provided for citizens with disabilities (regardless of age or type of disability) and the general public, to gather together for an afternoon of free food, activities, live entertainment, and information on local disability related services and support. Featured entertainers include Marshgrass Bluegrass Band, DJ Joe Willie Sousa, the Penguin Project Performers, and Christina’s Dance World dancers. Activities will include lots of picnic and sport games, face painting, bouncy activities, line dancing and more. See and pet therapy dogs and other animals. The Southeast Georgia Health System will provide health, wellness and rehabilitation information, and blood pressure screenings. Information will be available from organizations that provide local disability related services and support. Sign language interpreters will be available. Raffle drawings will be held hourly. Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. Please spread the word. We do not want a single person with a disability to miss this free event, and the general public is encouraged to attend too!
